Contemporary Dance
hi!
ahh thanks to sytycd, ive fallen in LOVEEE with
contemporary dance nowww!
cause ive realised that dancers who dance contemporary
are much much more talented than other style of dancers.
well, usually contemporary dancers did very well in hip hop
styles as well but somehow hip hop dancers cant do contemporary.
just looked at Travis Wall, Jeanine Mason and Jacob Karr from sytycd!
they're contemporary dancers but their hip hop routine were awesomee! XD

basically theres more stories and motives in a contemporary
routine! which is why very interesting! let me try to explain to you
the story behind each dance. so it'll be more funnn and interesting for you!
for this dance, basically its about a girl who cant let go of an addiction
thats she addicted to for years. it can be any kind of addiction, smoking,
drugs, abuse etc. she thought that this addiction is good for her but then
in the end, she realised that it'll only strangles and kills her slowly. the lady
in the video is the girl and the guy is the 'addiction' itself. pretty smart routine.
ohh this dance is a very typical love dance where the girl basically
is chasing after the guy's lovee and they seems to go through
tough moments. she seems despo lah but yeahhh, kind of sad as well.
this is a creative routine by mia michaels where she uses bench to
interpret dance and scenery. its a about a couple, about to went through a
break up however, the girl wants to save the relationship. they use cool
prop like flower and bench. cool huh. :))
oh and theres travis! WEEEE!
hahaha this routine is basicall resembles an old drama couple, those
you see in 1970s type. funny dance but kind of creative at the same time.
they call it butt dance. you know why if you see it.
ahhh this is a sad story. hahaha.
basically the girl has mental problem and shes admitted into the
mental hospital. her boyfriend came back to visit her.
you see lah the rest.
this one, the girl is a cancer victim and the guy as a friend, tries
be there for her every minute and second. very touching routine.
if you watched the full version, audiences and judges actually cried.
ahhh so sad.
